Work is now accelerating, have my Rwanda Medical License to do more effective teaching, I know so many in Rwanda and they have been so very welcoming, I drive around like a crazy Nigerian, have co managed some very interesting cases, the anaesthesia and Obstetric teams are simply wonderful, the city is still so clean. My nuclear family is here and the kids realised this is the first time we have been together in one car for so long. Talk of working with minimal resources and an out stretched overworked staff and one realises the challenge of quality care.....
And then December 20 happened. We visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. You can only come out with silence. The very very very (emphasis) worst and the very best of humanity on display. The section on children? hmmm........
